Coaches Clinics

Youth leagues are usually the first opportunity for young ball players to participate in a team environment. The strength of any youth league is the ability to recruit and retain qualified volunteers who can handle all the demands of coaching children. Unfortunately, training the new coaches is beyond the resources of many leagues. As a result, kids oftentimes receive poor coaching by well-intended, yet untrained volunteers. We lose too many kids from baseball and softball because of bad coaching.

Now your league can be the strongest ever with the help of Boston Baseball Academy’s Coaches Clinics.

These instructional sessions, tailored to your league’s specific needs, include:

• Lecture time to give all your volunteers an understanding of important issues critical to coaching fundamental (as well as advanced) skills.
• Hands-on time to allow your volunteers to experience what their players go through so they can be better prepared when they start practice.
• A coach’s notebook with informative handouts on mechanics and practice organization to give each coach a solid plan built for success.

Your well-intentioned volunteers and players alike will get so much more out of your league. In addition, you do not have to take valuable time away from your job of running the league. Boston Baseball Academy’s skilled staff will do all the heavy lifting while adding value to your league. Finally, it will be fun for everyone.

An experienced High School and AAU coach, Coach Pecci will travel to your facility and train all your coaches. Each session runs from two to six hours and is staffed according to the total enrollment of attending coaches.

Coaches Clinic Rates

• First two hours (minimum per session)            $ 200 per hour
• Hours three to six in same session                   $ 150 per hour
