The Type of Wood may be selected and can be one of the following options:
| Maple | Heavier, denser and more durable than Ash. Baseball barrels slightly thinner to reduce weight. Great wood!!! | |
| Ash | Traditional grain. Softer, lighter and less durable than Maple. Can vary greatly in quality. | |
If no selection is made, the Type of Wood defaults to Maple.
